Vedic Maths Trick of making table upto 99


Most people have memorized multiplication tables upto 10 only and it is very difficult task to learn tables upto 99. In this vedic trick you would learn to quickly make tables upto 99.

For example, table of 12 
Ist Step

12 x 1 = 1 2
12 x 2 = 2 4
12 x 3 = 3 6
12 x 4 = 4 8
12 x 5 = 5   10
12 x 6 = 6   12
12 x 7 = 7   14
12 x 8 = 8   16
12 x 9 = 9   18
12 x 10 = 10 20
         
Can you observe something in this table? Here, we have simply wrote table of 1 in blue colour and table of 2 in red colour.
Now IInd step 
12 x 1 = 1 2 = 12
12 x 2 = 2 4 = 24
12 x 3 = 3 6 = 36
12 x 4 = 4 8 = 48
12 x 5 = 5  +  10 = 60
12 x 6 = 6  + 12 = 72
12 x 7 = 7  + 14 = 84
12 x 8 = 8  +  16 = 96
12 x 9 = 9  + 18 = 108
12 x 10 = 10 + 20 = 120
          
Can you observe something? Here we have simply wrote unit place of table of 2 as it is and after that when there is tens place of table of 2 we added with the unit place of table of 1. Our Table of 12 have easily made up.

Now we will try to make table of 16
Ist step
 
16 x 1 = 1 6
16 x 2 = 2 12
16 x 3 = 3 18
16 x 4 = 4 24
16 x 5 = 5   30
16 x 6 = 6   36
16 x 7 = 7   42

Can you observe something? Here we have simply wrote unit place of table of 6 as it is and we added the tens place of table of 6 with unit place of table of 1.  Now our table of 16 easily have made up.
